ChefAdvantage has grown to become the leader in providing dynamic delivered meal service and onsite dining programs for Atlanta’s premiere childcare centers and K-12 independent schools. Our recipe for success begins with the belief that great food and service starts with great people.

ChefAdvantage is composed of caring chefs, cooks, drivers, and servers who believe in supporting the well-being of children through the gift of preparing delicious and nutritious food. Becoming a member of our work family begins with full background checks, the ability to work in our drug-free and smoke-free environment, and the desire to do whatever it takes to “get it right”. Our staff members receive continuous training in order to maintain our standards of service. Our Leadership Team

Gordon Evans - President and CEO
Having spent over 20 years in the multi-unit hospitality and healthcare fields, Gordon understands the need for delivering a high quality product with exceptional customer service to our clients. Most recently, Gordon was a Regional Vice President with ACCOR hotels where he was charged with leading a team of hospitality, engineering and human resources professionals that provided support and operational leadership to over 150 hotels throughout the country.

As Chief Operations Officer at Mountain Health and Wellness, Gordon had overall responsibility for company operations at all hospitals throughout the state. This included information technology, human resources, process improvement, front office administration and property development. During his tenure, he was also responsible for the planning and construction of a 35,000 sq. ft. medical complex. Gordon's experience has provided him with a unique perspective on serving our youth. Uncompromising quality coupled with a strong focus on providing exceptional customer service in an inviting environment is the key to his success. His experience in health and wellness confirms his belief that getting children off to a happy and healthy start in life has to be our highest mission. ChefAdvantage delivers on that belief!

James Clark - Director of Operations
Born in Connecticut, James is a third generation food service professional. He has worked in the culinary field for over seventeen years with the past ten being in educational foodservice. During that time, James spearheaded the dining services of independent schools across the Southeast region. His responsibilities at ChefAdvantage include overseeing all aspects of daily operations, safety, and client relations.
James resides in Rome where he enjoys gardening with his wife and their three daughters.
Mark Ringley - Business Manager
Mark is a graduate of the University of South Florida with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management. Mark’s contributions at ChefAdvantage include full charge accounting, human resources administration, and office management.Prior to joining ChefAdvantage in 2006, Mark worked in the information technology sector providing software support and training, as well as later running the business office for a local software company. He is originally from Southwest Florida and has resided in Atlanta for the past seventeen years.
Darla Farley - Chef/Manager
Darla grew up in Southeastern Pennsylvania.  She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Horticulture from Delaware Valley College.  She spent summers working at Rodale’s Experimental Organic Farm and Garden.  Darla began her culinary career after graduating from Johnson and Wales University, Rhode Island Campus with an Associate’s in Culinary Arts.Darla has experience in fine dining catering, country clubs, restaurants and hotels.  She began her work with ChefAdvantage as the Chef at Camp Twin Lakes, a nonprofit camp for children with serious medical and life challenges.
Joella Blossomgame - Chef/Manager
Like many who discovered cooking later in life, Joella switched from one creative passion to another and has never looked back. She was an accomplished violinist through high school, having graduated from the Tri Cities High School of Performing Arts. In a desire to help people in need, Joella turned her attention to prepare for studying Pediatric Surgery in College.While the field of pediatric surgery was intriguing, Joella yearned to do something more creative in her career. She began serving and cooking in a local restaurant and soon learned that she could do something creative while serving others. Joella came on board with ChefAdvantage in 2006 and studied under a number of chefs while working virtually all stations in all of our kitchens. She continues to expand her knowledge daily with her home focus group consistng of her two young daughters.
Kent Dalton - Chef/Manager
Chef Kent Dalton is an Atlanta native with over 25 years of foodservice experience. His culinary career began while working at inns and resorts in Vermont, Colorado, and Georgia where he always enjoyed trying new dishes and introducing others to new foods. Kent has a Bachelors Degree in Information Technology from Kennesaw State University as well as a Diplome D' Art Culinaire from Le Cordon Bleu. Kent currently resides in Marietta with his wife and enjoys woodworking during his free time.
Tori Nielsen - Nutritionist
Tori is a graduate of Auburn University, where she received a bachelor’s degree in Human Science with a Concentration in Nutrition/Dietetics. Her responsibilities as Nutritionist are to ensure that menus are balanced and in keeping with our mission to offer wholesome foods that kids love to eat. Additionally, she spearheads nutrition education programs and presentations.
Tori is a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, School Nutrition Association, and Georgia Organics. She resides in Alpharetta, Georgia where she enjoys cooking, kickboxing and spending time with her husband.
